At least it's odd to me.
Normal behavior is that he eats pellets in the morning and fresh food (salmon/shrimp/tilapia/earth worms) in the evening. He's never been a big fan of pellets, but he eats them. Also, whenever I come to his tank, he comes to the surface ready to chow down.
Starting this past Monday, he started refusing everything. Yesterday I got him to take 2 small chunks of Salmon (which he usually gorges himself on). He's been totally ignoring pellets (Grand Sumo Red and Almost Natural Cichlid Pellets). Color is normal. The only behavior abnormality he's showing is that when I come to feed him, instead of rushing to the top begging for food, he sometimes flares up like he wants to fight.
I'll post up some water parameters tonight when I get home.
