So, this petco was supposed to close down about a year ago. And it was apparent, they were getting rid of everything and even had a going out of business sale. Well, theyre still up and running, although they have no animals there, with the exception of some mice. Everything in there is dirt cheap when it comes to aquarium items. I found a 30'' Coralife HO light fixture for the low low price of 20 dollars. Brand new never been used. I also managed to pick up 3 extra light bulbs, same story, new never been used. Each a dollar, so i bought all the ones I could find. I'm pretty sure I saved a lot because I think these normally go for atleast 100 for the fixture and the lights are maybe 20 a piece? Either way it's a win for me 
Anyway, on a side note, there was a girl who was asking me about the light, and I told her the 2' light fixture would fit her 20 gl, and i asked what she had in there, she said puffers. I said cool, she also said she'd been trying to grow plants, and i asked about any lighting, she said no. and that the plants had been dying and she didnt know why. Then she said she wanted plants for the puffers to eat, and said shed try adding more salt to her tank to keep the plants growing. I just said thank you and walked out the door. I wanted to laugh, but didnt
