Hey, was just curious if anyone had any input on this. I had a "mystery" death of a baby senegalus last week...he was only 3", ate well the night before and had no obvious sign of injury or disease. I'd had him appx 6 weeks or so, and I kind of chalked it up to "these things happen". Water params and tankmates are good. My coworker and I were chatting today, and I found out that the senegal he bought also died a mystery death a few days ago, and was also acting normally. Ours were from the same batch, and purchased around the same time. What do you guys think...some sort of internal parasite maybe? What can I do to prevent this in the future?
Also, I ordered 4 senegals to come into work two weeks ago, and none of them lasted a week. All of them died, the last two did turn sort of a rusty color on their back ends before they died...possibly some sort of bacterial infection?
