well I bought a jag about a week ago he/she is about 2.5 inches. When I bought it, it was comletely stressed coloration was almost black because they had it in a tank with like 20 JD's that ranged from 4-7 inches. The Jag was actually backing them all off but it obviously wasn't enjoying being in the tank. Well yesterday I noticed on top of his head a little white thing maybe a couple millimiters in diameter(not ich). It looked like something was stuck to him since it actually appears to protrude from his head. I was kinda figuring it would just fall off but this morning it was still there. My water parameters are good
ammonia = 0
Nitrite = 0
Nitrate <10
I do weekly water changes of 30% and all of the other fish in the tank are fine and show no signs of this.
Has anyone ever herd of seen something like this before. I'm thinking I'm going to net jim and have a look to see it a little better and I'll try to get some pics of it tonight to post but I kinda doubt I'll be able to get a close enough clear pic to show it well. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
