For me it was 80% and 20% survival. It was my high pH in the water that was killing them off.

not to burst your bubble, and I know this can be a person preference, but an "oddball" datnoid is not really desirable by most standards. primarily because most datnoids ARE "oddballs". It's the ones with perfect bars that are so hard to find and prized.
