Would an African knife fish, a dwarf snakehead, a spiny eel and a Senegal bichir work in a 90 gallon tank? Of not then what combo of them would work? The bichir is probably my least favourite of the 4.

Aren't snakeheads insatiable eaters? Not sure how big the dwarfs get. I've seen eels and bichirs work together and I remember reading that African knifefish can get really mean.

+1 for bichirs and spiny eels. I kept bichirs with my TT and had no issues. Not sure about the others though.

The bigger spiney eels (Fire, TT) would get to big for a 90g eventually... I never heard that most AKF are mean, and I think it would do well in there.

It was the peacock eel I was looking at, I think they get to about 8"? I thought the AKF were supposed to be fine with fish too big to be seen as food? My old Senegal bichir was never aggressive with anyone, always kept to himself.. The only one I wasn't sure about was the dwarf snakehead but the other fish would be the same size or a bit bigger so I thought it could work out..

I think the dwarf snakehead may kill the afk. Easily bullied and skin doesn't heal to well if it gets infected IMO.

I think the Knife fish would eventually eat the Dwarf Snakehead. The Dwarfs get to about 8 inches but I believe the Knife could reach 3 feet not sure though. You would do better with a larger tank as a 90 is only a foot print of 48x18 inches. We had some Dwarf Snakeheads and baby Jewels smaller than them killed them. Remember also that the Knife and Bichir are night hunters and may attack the others while they are sleeping. Although doubtful with the Bichir but it may end up food for the Knife.
I don't know much about Eels to comment on it but from what I have seen of them they appear frail. If I were doing it would go Bichir,Snakehead and Eel.

Its the African brown knife, i'm sure they only get to 12" max? I thought that because all of the fish get to a similar size they wouldn't see each other as food.. Is there any chance at all of it working?

Yea. It won't reach a foot but still have doubts with the snakehead. It may work. Keep everyone fed and add plenty of hiding spots. Good luck with it and keep us posted.
