Well I'm back in the clown game. Things have been hectic with grad school, this was my first trip to a LFS in easily 6 months and I knew I just had to buy something. My tank was getting boring with no good movement and what better way to add some excitement then to add some clowns. So I came home with 12 clowns, and 8-9 of them are oddballs. I have fingerprint, saddlebacks, spot, 1st and 2nd stripe are connected at the top, puzzle piece, etc. You name that oddball type and chances are I probably have one. So has anyone else been noticing that oddballs are much more common now? Also I use to feed my old clowns hikari gold, but I'm trying something different and switching over to NLS. Nothing against hikari my fish love them, but NLS just seems to add more color to my fish. And yes I will post pics ASAP. As soon as these guys get big enough, they're jumping in with my dats. Great to be back on MFK!

I noticed a lot of oddballs this past year. Almost a lighter tone then b4. Check all the popular box stores. Somebody know why they're different?

1.) Maybe farm raised "horomone induced" clowns have been mass produced to form this variant
2.)or.... from a different collection point if they're wild.
