I have a 110 gallon with no center brace so its darn ear impossible to find tops for it. I would either have to do a diy top out of acrylic or glass or oder from glass cages. Do glass cages make tops for tanks without braces? And should i get the glass or acrylic from them?

I'm sure they would make whatever you asked them to if you gave them the measurements. You could get the glass from anywhere you want to locally though, you don't have to get it from them. Keep in mind it might not be practical to use a regular glass top if you're talking about a really wide width unsupported by a center brace. You'd have to use thick glass to keep it from bowing. You might have to DIY some method of supporting it in the middle to make it work.
I have the same tank as you 110g 48x18x30. I used plexiglass 4 sheets 18 inch's since the sheets were just alittle bigger than 18 inch's so far it works I like it and I cut out where my filter intake and outtake and heaters and powerheads are but it works so far. I mainly did it was the water didn't splash on my lights.
What I did for my old 55 was to cut out 3 pieces of thicker glass and lay them across the tank for support, and then put my tank lids on top of that.
