ODO and Green Texas =?

I just noticed that my black nasty has paired with one of my green Texas. This was not intentional. The green Texas is the only fish that my ODO hasn't killed. They are going through all the motions of breeding. Is this a possible match ? They are both about 5-6 inches.. Any advice would be appreciated.
