Hey we probably talked about it scattered around on the sight, but i was buying 3 african pikes at 2''and a delhizi bichir 3'' and was wondering if there were some maybe harmless cichlids or ctenopoma, i was thinking a couple frontosa, or some hero's(severums). let me know what yall think, oh yeah my first tank for them is a 75 gal , then a 180 whenthey get bigger

nobody ever made it clear people said bichirs is that it, somebody must know and has a tank filled up now with odoes and tank mates
Yup.... I've had a small shoal for over a year now. Haven't found a single thing they don't mix with. NOT a fan of any Cichlids though so I have no clue about any of those.

i jsut picked up a 2" odoe two days ago. i have quite a different set up that i think will work. well for now its in a small 20g just to grow out.
but the plan is to put it in with my silver dollars, firemouth cichlid, and gourami, altho the gourami might have to go. im pretty sure i shouldnt get any fighting issues with the cichlid. ive always seemed to find that they just dont like other cichlids and everything else is usually ok. in general that is.
