Odoe finally took chopped tilapia last night!

Last night my odoe pike finally started eating chopped tilapia.

He even ate a piece off the bottom of the tank, i can't wait to grow him out and mix him with the bichirs in the 150g.

has anyone had success getting these african pikes to take pellets? what would be a good one to try?

I was thinking of starting with hikari food sticks.

Encouraging news and congrats to Cohazard.I have a two incher exclusively on rosies untill it gets a little bigger but it's good to know that they can be trained rather easily...Cohazard how big is your odoe?

Nice Serg! My guy eats krill and is now on the "Starvation Diet" or Death Bed if he dont take shrimp. Ive read they are fairly easy to get on different foods but so far its a LIE DAMIT! Lol

You'd think that they would break and eat non live rather than die right? I had two VATF's die due to not eating. I saved the third by giving him goldfish. Now he's back on live and I know I't going to be next to impossible to get him off live again.

Mine was eatin' pelltes and silversides @ 3in" and maybe 1/2" in hieght - he was really small - grew like a bat ouuta hell now gettin' close to a foot in length. Still eats Massivore, StiX, and silverside chunks daily. Congrats!
