I just bought an 8" odoe pike from my LFS today for $40. THIS THING IS PISSA... did I pay too much though? either way, if I did it was worth it but I want to know how much people usually buy these for.

ive seen one for sale for that same price, just one tho. i would have grabbed him but this was in Mas and i live in florida.
yes it was worth it. they wholesale for 20.00 but there only 4 inches. thats a good deal for store price and they get aggressive when they settle in. my pike cichlid and my odoe liplocked and that cichlid didnt want anything to do with him.

I've seen them in England, 7 or 8 inches, for 50 quid. Which is almost 100 dollars, so yes I say it's a good deal.

that was a great deal as Ive seen 3-4" gor $55 so $40 for an 8" WOW.
Mine are peaceful except for feeding. Ive seen a few fights over food. Also very limited territory disputes.
