Odoe pike with African cichlids

I wanted to know if you could keep a odoe pike with predator haps and peacocks or is that just a ridiculous question, if so what are ideal odoe tankmates

Haps and peacocks are rift lake cichlids, odoes come from down south in a completely different environment.

HarleyK kept his with angels I think

I just looked through that thread and I don’t think they would work then, are there any non cichlid tankmates for Africans excluding catfish

Hendre is right. High-bodied fish like adult angels worked for me ... until the pikes reached 12’’. Then they turned mean and damaged the angelfish even though they were too big to eat.
