Odoes.... Out of the pond into a tank.

Finally out of the pond and into a tank where they can actually be seen. They don't appear too happy about the move, but they will have to deal with it till the big tank gets set up after a move.

Had to revive one the other day after it jumped out. Figured until the pond gets redone with some nice lids they can hang in the growout tank. Hopefully they get used to the current.

I guess we'll see. I really feel that like most Characins they are kept in tanks that are too small leading to really high stress levels and in turn premature death..... MAYBE if given proper living conditions they will live longer..... Maybe not.

One things sure..... They definetly enjoyed the space in the pond where they could really stretch thier fins, this was definetly evident when I was trying to catch them. They laughed, I got mad.

They'll be in the growout till midsummer when the pond rebuild is done.... Then they'll go back to thier roomy home with the rays.....

Just beautifull, really, i am soo jealous.
What are the dimentions of the tank they are in now with that stunning ray?
