just got an odyssea 700 filter and was wondering if its ok to put a few bags of the bio balls from my old filter in the top of the canister. right now all my levels are high in the tank not the max high but high enough that i think it killed my clown knife. i have a 125gal tank and have only had the filter running for about a day i had to shut it down for a night to make repairs to the valve it was about 10 hours with no filter running. could this have also killed my clown knife. it was just a baby i only had him about 2 months never saw him eat or do much of anything. well i guess thats all for now
