# Of PEACOCK BASS IN 240 WITH TANKMATES

Right now i have one oscar (10 in), one Pacu (12 in), and one Jag (4 in). I am getting a new 240 (8-2-2 ft.) for them and was wondering how many peacock bass i could get to go in with them. They will probably be occelaris. I also wanted to add a silver arowana to the tank.

Let me know what you guys think about the # of Pbass possible in the tank with those tankmates.
 
I have one pbass right now and i got it from mililani pets for 5.00!! Its about 2 inch.
They also got some at coral fish hawaii for 6.00.

6 bucks! omg. Here juvies are around $100 for quality fish :(

808, you do realise that ocellaris get 2 feet in length at full size? so your fish would be as wide as the tank itself. In my opinion i feel you could maybe keep 2 mono in there at most and i would forget about the aro. I personally like to keep fish as comfortable as possible! Nothing worse then seeing big predatory fish with an inch either side of them to turn around in. Im getting monoculus and im planning to go 10x3x3 if funds allow. If funds dont allow i wont get the fish. Just keep in mind you probably would not like to be kept in a 5x5 ft room :)
 
I reckon 3 for life mate.. otherwise as sugessted before try to go wider..

Np they were also selling Tems at AquaScape for 10 bucks but I missed out:cry:
 
BUMMERS:nilly:. Ive been looking aronud for some different kinds of pbass for awhile, but could only find occelaris.
