So it started with 1 plant and then figured ok ill just try to do planted again. I had this exact tank planted before and i would say it was going well but never asked. So here we go. Its a 29g with sand, no other substrate, coral life cf strip 69watt i believe. I also decided it couldnt hurt to leave the flourecent strip on there also. 15 watts for of light. Floramax bulb. Im gonna start using flourish and add the diy co2 i did last time. Btw if anyone has a really good diy co2 (easy and cheap) they wanna share i appreciate it. Current plants are:

Parrots feather
Cobomba
Anacharis
Banana plant
Ludwiga broadleaf
Some bushy plant ummm hornwort i think
Some crypts
Java fern
And hygro i think

Do these need more light? Any other tips? Any other recommended plant that will grow fast with this light?

Your CF light is more than enough by itself. I would recommend CO2 with that level of lighting as well. I like mid range spectrums like 6700K or 10,000K.

Your plant choice is good. Nothing too high maitenance. Good luck.
