I'm attending the WE LEARN conference in Providence this weekend in order to present my research and teach a workshop. Wish me luck! I'm leaving this Thursday and I'm incredibly nervous for both the presentations and the drive. It's a 12 or so hour drive from my hometown.

Providence is a great city. It has come a long way in the past 10 years. Lots of very good restaurants good luck

I was there two years ago for a couple of days and ordered from an amazing Ethiopian place. I haven't driven down though, I went with a group of Professors last time.
If you have time visit Thayer st. It's up near brown university and Rhode Island school of design. Excellent restaurants and a bar called the shark bar. They have a huge reef tank with a black tip shark in it.
