I am moving into a new office this summer and am going to plan out a 55 or 75 gallon "wet pet" aquarium. What do you suggest? I don't want a fish that will hide or get stressed by frequent visitors and moderate traffic. I also want a fish that will "shock" people when they see it. I want newbie's to walk in and say, "Wow, what the heck is that? Incredible!" Thanks!

There are various big CA cichlids that would work. A 75 is a good size for most of them, 55 is no good though.

Trimac (amphilophys trimaculatus)
Carpintis (herichthys carpintis)
Red Devil (amphilophys labiatus)
Midas cichlid (amphilophys citrinellus)
Green Terror (get a big male to start with; they grow crazy slow)
Texas cichlid (herichthys cyanoguttatus)
Black nasty ( Nandopsis? haitiensis - might be too big for a 75)
Any parachromis species but a male jag or dovii. Those get too big for a 75.
There are various other species in the Amphilophys genus you should look at too.

Or just get an 8'x3' 360 gallon and get a male umbee.

you want a nice big F0 rapps male midas.

A big pike cichlid would be cool too.

Saltwater... Colors of those fish are bright for an office and give people something "nice" to watch. Plus you can do Tangs and the "nemo" fish!! LOL
