This is the official thread. Members who can not follow the TOS in this thread will lose their rights to use the lounge. This is the final warning in this regard.

Post and enjoy. Friendly banter is allowed, but do not cross the line. If this thread gets out of hand there will be no more football threads. You know I would hate that as I love football.

The giants already losing their "Prince of the new meadowland". Prince Amukamara already out indefinetly. Sorry G men fans.

 He's gonna miss like 7 weeks. Good thing we're already stacked at Corner and we don't really need him in the first place. Corey Webster can handle the load.:headbang2

so do the eagles and ravens still play thursday?

Go Broncos!

I was excited when Orton was going to be traded to Miami and Tebow was going to be number one. Now that fell through, and there's some quarterback controversy going on. I do agree that they have the best chance of winning with Orton, but I was excited to see what Tebow can do.

They had a scrimmage yesterday, and apparently Vaughn Miller and Elvis Dumervil looked fantastic. There are some other positive acquisistions on the D this year too.

Knowshon Moreno has been working his butt of in the offseason, and he is suppose to have a good year. Now they have Willis Mcgahee too.

I'm not expecting playoffs this year, but I'm excited to see what Fox does.

Awwww, FOOTBALL, the BEST time of the year!!!!

^ they're in a pretty weak division. i say they have as good a chance as everyone except San Diego. i'm excited to see Dumervil back this year and i don't normally watch pre season games but i want to watch the broncos to see with my own eyes if tebow has improved from last year to this year.

What urban meyer came out and said about merril hodge's comment was pretty revealing to me. it's at the end where he talks about you can't expect tebow to be the traditional QB that sits in the pocket and makes 30 throws a game

they've got like 4 legit running backs.....if injuries derail them then they don't deserve to make it. haha. pierre thomas, chris ivory, mark ingram and darren sproiles. they should be able to afford to lose 2 or 3 of them and still be fine. heck, green bay won it all with no running backs last year

Green Bay did impress me last year.
The Saints should be fine but with the there history of injuries it just makes me nervous even though they are stacked with running backs.
Just having somewhat of a running game will take a lot of pressure off of brees to make his job a lot easier, thats what hurt them last year.

On the heels of Chad Henne throwing 3 TDs to the "Beast" during a scrimmage today, I am now confident in predicting the Miami Dolphins as the next Superbowl Champions :headbang2

On a more sensible note I have the Atlanta Falcons beating the repeating AFC champion Steelers.
