As you guys probably know I have lots of parrots.

I work with parrots constantly and have for the last 2 or 3 years. Pm me if you have any specific questions about parrots or if you are looking for any in the oklahoma city areas
Pictured there were normal parrots, big blood red parrot, normal American and Taiwan Standard KKP's and my notch/mohawk parrot who is missing part of her dorsal spines
Chris, let me guess.... from what you have said, do you consider the parrot in the far right of that picture to be your most ideal parrot? If that is what you think then I totally see what you mean in our differing standards. That is a nice parrot, and indeed it is more blood parrotly than any of my so called "high quality".
Where we disagree is I tend to judge regular blood parrots by kkp standards, basically just judging them by the indentedness of the head and the v-shape of the mouth... I use this standard because it seems to correlate with better health and longer life among my cichlids... which is what I want from them. But I do see how it has resulted in you and I having totally different kinds of fish. I would have sold some of your nicest bps for half price : P

And I'm sure you would have passed over in the store what I consider my best fish. Funny how things work that way
