Ignore the title, haha. Just figured I'd post this to figure out who on here has mokes, for curiosity's sake. Feel free to include pictures in here as well if you want, or just post for roll call.

I'll go ahead and get the ball rolling at 2. Might be getting rid of one though.
 
I sir have 2. Probably going to up it to 4 this year sometime. There is a picture of one of mine in the media area under the title what lurks in my tank.

Hope you all dun mind I hijack this thread to ask a question.

Is mokelembembe a very difficult polypterus to keep? I had tried to keep them for the pass 1 yr and I already lost 9 pieces. :( What are the things to look out for, ie water food etc, when keeping them.

I find mine can be very picky about water conditions.

And just out of interest, why do you make a post using one name, then make a post minutes later using Kohaku?
 
Another thing to keep in mind is that mokes are one of the most secretive polys, hence why they're usually so rarely found in the wild. They'll do better if you give them lots of places to hide.

That's what I suspect. I suspect water is very important as those that died is mainly due to me forgeting to change water after it gets cloudy. So does it means they really need clean water to strive? Can I use treated chlorinated water or must i use spring water? Any tips?

Huh?:confused: I tried to register using the same nick from AF, but it was already in use. :(
