ok you guys did it, reading all the posts about aros for the last 2 weeks, went to the lfs last nite and spotted them, 2, 4 inch baby aros begging to come home with me. So i bought them.
they are currently in a 55 with a golden algae eater 3 inches, 2 redtail sharks also 3-4 inches, and three 1-2 inch jack dempseys, i know most dempseys would bully aros of this size, however, these three are bonafide chicken fish, they hide from everything and the rest of the fish bully them. I am hooked, i cant stop watching my new babies, they are the most fascinating fish i have ever owned.
. now don't worry they will be going into a 250 when they get bigger, i do know that they get huge. what i need now is information, what ph , what temp, what food is best? right now they are eating flakes very well but i know that wont last. oh yeah they are silver aros, and they are my first . i am not new to keeping monsters, just these particular monsters.my new monsters would appreciate any info or advice you guys can give. and thanks for the addiction.
