So heres the story:
im the one in my family who loves fish, ive got a 125 in my little one bedroom apartment. my parents enjoy fish too but im the one they always come to for advice and who helps them set up there tanks. well this past weekend i helped my dad set up a 55gal as a growout for a flowerhorn i have. ive decided to give it to him because hes been wanting one for so long. well he goes out and drops around $300 bucks to set up this tank, gets a cascade 1000 with spray bar and everything a set of zoomed T5HO lights that look amazing with the ultra sun and coral sun bulbs, get new amazing looking natural pea gravel and was going to use my old tank. well we get home and start setting up the tank and my old 55 leaks, so we take it down and he goes and buys a new 55gal kit( which he gave me the lights off of since i needed them which i was happy about). we set the tank ontop of a half wall that he has above his fireplace and he went out and got a huge moss ball as the center piece and some other odd and ends plants he thought were cool. now that the tanks all set up it looks incredible and im extremely jealous of it. must be nice to have that kind of money just to be able to drop. i didnt get any pictures last weekend but ill get some this weekend when we go up to visit.
