On Mother EARTH
About a week ago, I did a water change on all of my tanks, a total of 3. 2 of the tanks house channa, and one houses convicts. long story short about 4 days ago my convicts went from normal to dead in a matter of two days. They started with peeling eyes, then the white stringy stuff all over their body. Treated them with salt and Maracyn plus, and it had no affect on what ever it was they had. a day later, the tank which has the one gachua started showing same symptoms, tryed treating it with tetracycline, and that didn't work either. This morning the gachua looked ok, not great, but it looked like he was going to pull through. tonight this is how he was. He is the only fish in the tank and it looks like he was chewed up.. So this is a rapid killing disease....

So, 2 of the three tanks where lost, the only thing that is weird is how they both became contaminated. I syphoned the water out of tank of tank 1 ( the one that houses the bleheri, and doesn't seem to be affected), then siphoned out of the gachua tank, then the convict tank. I used a bucket to re-fill the gachua thank and the convict tank. So the only thing that went into both tanks was the siphoning hose but that hose was later used to fill the bleheri tank which at this time seems fine. I have had bouts with the disease before a couple years back and lost some fish then, and it seems as though it comes back every so often.
This seemed to be right after the water change, and the water was close to the same temp as the tanks and stress coat was used. What do you think this could be?

0 ammonia
0 nitrite
20 nitrate
