Well I need to pick my Aro up today because he is getting beat up at the LFS. Problem is his tank won't be ready til Friday.

I have these options.
10 Gallon Hex nothing in it.
20 Gallon 4"Jag
40 Gallon 4"JD, 5"GT (Rather not do this)
I can also seperate the tanks but the Aro is gonna need some swimming room.

The Aro is about 3" if that.
What should I do, I'm heading there in an hour.
Any help would be appreciated.

i would do the 10 gallon tank (provided it's a established tank). it'll be fine till friday

or

dump the jag into the 40 gallon and use the 20 gallon tank

if the ten has good filtration and heat i would go with that. the larger tanks would be better though but all the other fish would destroy the aro. if you could mix the JD, GT, and jag in one tank and use one of the larger tanks for the aro, that would be best.

The 10 Gallon has a whisper 20 on it...Which I HATE. Maybe my AC70 will fit on there.
I'm gonna go in 10 minutes to pick him up. Any last suggestions.
Worst comes to worse I'll dump the Jag in with the other two. Hopefully they won't fight.

I divided the 20 Gallon lengthwise. Time to let the arrow out the bag. Wish me luck.

good luck...I would put him in the ten if he's under 6 inches if you got till friday.:D

I would go with established water, no tankmates, at his size, even the 10 is fine. Aro's like and need clean water, plus you can monitor his feeding if he's alone. Good Luck.

I've got the 20 Gallon split Diagnoly with a nice piece of glass. Can't even notice it's their. He's been in the LFS for about 3 Weeks so he's not shy at all! I'm gonna take some pictures now:nilly:
The water in the 20 gallon is pristine, it's a very well established tank. I used it for my Pbass when it was young.
