Ok guys today I caught a small bull frog for my piranhas to eat from my local stream, well i didnt wana throw it in there with the posibilities of bad bacteria hurting my fish so I just boiled the frog to kill anything that might hurt my fish. So the frog is cooked and now i feel all dizzy and nauseous. Could it be because i just BOILED A FREAKING FROG and feel bad :( or could it be something like i inhaled fumes from the frog boiling and i'm going to die........

it probably steamed the toxins in the skin and you breathed them in, if you get really dizzy you should probably go to the hospital, and i think the poster was kidding when he told you to boil the frog

My parents' friends down south do it all the time, and i dont think bullfrogs are poisonous because the frog legs that people eat are from bullfrogs...... and they dont have any poisonous glands like toads do. I think I just freaked myself out.....

dude i wouldn't worry. i don't know if the skin has toxins...if it does it they are most likely proteins and will be denatured (unfolded) in the boiling water and wont do anything. this is why you can boil dirty water and then drink it. It denatures all the proteins in the bacteria and they die...including their toxins. now you can drink it if you feel the need. Im in dental school, they make me take all these crappy classes, that's just my opinion on your situation.
