okay i got my rtc on bloodworms (he only like chicken meat):D but my tsn hasnt ate since i got him 4 days ago how long should he already be feeding by.:(

catfishes are hardy lil buggers that grows big...so i wouldn't worry much. One thing you may want to try is Raw Market Shrimp...every catfishes delicacy...lol :D if not give him until the end of the week then try once again...by then he would be hungry and would likely to take whatever you feed him

I find a water change can sometimes envigorate them. FOr really small baby cats I take blood worms and thaw them in a bottle cap and warm water. Add a tiny bit of salt, then take a small glass eye dropper(they ones that are like half a centimeter with a black rubber boot), then suck up the cocktail, I then depending on how skittish they are put the dropper a few inches above them and gently squeeze out some of the contents where it will flow just in front of them and into their nostrils. Usually they will snap at it instantly. I just keep squeezing little by little till they have full bellies. Hope this helps. If they are not skittish at all like most rtcs then put it in front of their hiding spot and squeeze it out gently.
