Thank you! I have come to find out that native fish are my true calling...I have kept tropicals since I was about 5 but I love natives! There are so many perks to them. Save money on heaters and electricity, you can buy them online very easily and cheaply because they can be shipped in priority mail, and they are just a bright, colorful, and mean as any other fish you will find.

No I got it on a once in a lifetime find at the LFS. I will dig up some older pics of the bowfin but he is really hard to photograph.

i know a bowfin fishing hole but when i went for a baby i didnt get one. :cry:
and your pics always make me want to go back. :irked: :D
