oh man.. he jumped..

damn.. my azul jumped from my 160 hit a bare floor concrete ground i dont know how long he had been there i didnt know but when i saw him he was laying there helpless on the ground. i placed him into the water and revived him. hes okay for now swimming on his own but his scales eyes and fins are a bust.

on his fins there are little spine like things extending and on his eyes he has dry skin like stuff hanging on them both are white and looks like hes blind to me when i get near the tank he doesnt even notice my presence while all the others move away. His scales and body color are much whiter and washed out.

what should i do to help his eyes? any help is welcome.

this is all i have done so far. AQ salt more aeration and some slime coat enhancer.



How will i feed him?? today is day 2.

THAT SUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKSSSSSSSSSSS! Sorry to hear about that, that's horrible... I'd go with what you're doing and add some Melafix as well for fin regeneration and to prevent bacterial infections with open wounds/missing scales. Feeding can be a challenge, I've got a blind tem and he just hangs out in the water column, I try to drop food near him so if it hits him he'll eat it. Otherwise he kinda goes along the bottom and eats stuff the other peas missed. Best of luck with your Azul.

as for the eyes....see how it turns out.

Yeah add the Melafix. That stuff can really be magic sometimes. It's great for fin damage and things of that sort.
