Oh man, lost my RTC baby :(

Lost my RTC baby boy due to a wound on his tale from a rock or from a scale I have in the tank, this was my very first RTC and he became a strong 11" boy. He looked very healthy when I got to bed but when I woke up he was lying in the tank with the head up, dead like a sleeping stone... Man its very sad I loose my catfish at these crazy ways, last time was my TSN that broke his nose in the aquarium walls =/

It really hurts when I loose a fish, guess thats a good thing since then I must care much for them:) aked my LFS for a Juruense and a RTC and a RTC Hybrid, he was gonna see if he could import them for me. Really hope I can get a knew RTC, have a Tank setup with a homemade background waiting..
 
Sorry for your loss man! Best of luck with you new ones though (when you get them!).
 
yep it was 10,5" if I understand it right (26cm). It was a really nice fish and he ate like a horse just before I got to bed, found him dead in the morning, it was an awful discovery. Comforted myself by getting a crazy monster (Wolffish Hoplias malabaricus) and a Fully grown Syn.Eupterus, both where 45$ The wolffish had a defect eye, but it doesnt show any suffering from it, it ate 2 platies when I put it in my tank. And the Syn.E is really cute! Fat and long fins.

I sure will, went straight to the LFS and told him to import a new one for me, I will phone him next week to see if he had some succes :)
