Dear MFKers,

Got stucked in the airport due to flight delay. Decide to post some pics of one of my oscar that snatched a Bull Frog feeder from my Red Arowana last night!!

I would really say this Oscar's got big Ding Dongs (balls) to snatch feed meant for the aro.

Heres some pics:

I think there would be more competition for the Aro now for feeds...

Nice baby tigers there dude...

actually in this tank..there is a total of 3 oscars..plus my Red Aro and one Indonesian Tiger.

But all the while, the Arowana is the alpha feeder in the tank....this is the first time this oscar played the stunt of snatching the frog meant for the aro...

ahaha hope he dont get too brave or he'll end up like your snakehead and get :owned:

Nice!! Oscars can be pigs!! My pikes do that all the time...take food outa other cichlids mouths....kinda funny...sometimes they accidently take the other fishes face in their mouth as well....:S. Having other fish in there to make competition for food is a good thing in some instances...like...if you have shy feeders it helps cuz they see the other fish eatin and it makes them wanna eat. Also it makes fish fight for the food more....which gives them exercise and makes them hearty eaters! Congrats!

I have three oscars in a tank (two 9" and one 6"). The little red oscar always snatches up any food from the two big ones because they always shared equal with each other when it was the two of them. I guess now the little one thinks he has a lot to make up for.
