ok my teeth are jacked up and i have cavities and my wisdom teeth(which do get infected) still at 29 years old. right now my mouth makes me want to cry it hurts so bad and i have no insurance.

please does anybody know any way to take the edge off the pain "home remedy" style?? ive already caused ulcers in my stomach from basically living off ibuprofen etc...

At Wal Mart they have liquid Novocain type stuff.
Just look in the medicine isle and you'll probably find it.
Numbs your mouth really good.

whiskey is what my Step dad used to use on his teeth... I'd get them checked out though your too young to have jacked teeth. Even if it ends up costing you an arm and leg its worth it... Remember when applying for jobs the first thing people see are your teeth.. Its important to keep them healthy..

I'm 30 now but there was a time in my life where I didn't see a dentist for 10 years and during that time I earned quite a few cavities and they were a ***** to fill in.

Hate to break it to you, but you are going to have your teeth taken care of.

There is nothing you can do about the cavities other than having them filled. Having your wisdom teeth pulled isn't bad either, I don't have dental insurance so I paid for it myself. Cost me $120 IIRC. Almost twice that if you want to be put to sleep.

The liquid stuff I'm talking about is really strong.
I put a drop in my mouth and I couldnt feel anything, even my lips went numb.

But like others said, you really gotta see a dentist man, it's just going to get worse.

oh i know i gotta get em fixed, but it might be a few days till i can. if i drank atleast that would numb the pain, but i dont anymore.

i havent been to the dentist in over 15 years, hell ive been running around with 1/2 of one of my front teeth broke off for about 8 years.

You can do a hydrogen peroxide rinse. Using hydro peroxide you get at the drug store for cuts/scrapes. Dilute it half perox/half water IMO though. Theres more directions online for this. There's always the whiskey/alcohol rinse as well but not drinking it may be a trigger to make you want to start again. And I've heard clove oil(from a vitamin store) will dull the pain as well.

Further than that dig up some amoxocillan, as fighting the infection will help. Or in a pinch hit the hospital to see what they can do. They should at least give you some tylenol 3, vicatin, etc. Sometimes they will give you novicaine shot but they're not dentists so they usually have no clue where to put it for greatest affect.

I've been there. Feel for you. Teeth are serious stuff though, teeth infections can infact kill you and cause serious damage. See if there are any cheaper dentists near you or in some larger cities there are some that will work payment plans for emergency work.

Might sound funny, but vicks vaporub works wonders. My wife told me to use it when I had a bad tooth ache, and I was skeptical, but it really took the pain away.
