Got a call this morning on my day off.

Hello. (me)
Hi, this is Linda (whispering). I think I filled the pond too much.
Are they floating? (me)
No. They are just in the middle of the pond and not moving.
I'll bring my 5lb bucket of declor. (me)

I get there.
They are not moving because they are all dead!

Wife is sobbing. Husband not speaking. She left the water running from yesterday evening to this morning.
Definitely not a fool proof drip.

Sad but life goes on. I recommended a timer on the hose bibb for the future.
I built this pond and been taking care of these kois for about 15 years. The Goshiki and Ki Utsuri were exceptional. Didn't have the heart to tell them that they were ready to spawn this Spring.

Haha...I know you do Ken and rightfully so.I wasn't sure if K was aware of that or not.
I do my best to ensure people's Feng Shui but when they do it to themselves, what can you do? One fish dying to absorb the negative energy intended for you is no big deal but the whole pond? and New Year in a few weeks? Serious juju there. I'm staying away till this blows over.

What a shame to lose one of those koi but the lose the whole stock that’s just terrible. I guess Chlorine poisoning was the cause of death.
Fish keeper response: Yes, definitely chlorine/chloramine/ammonia from the tap water.

Asian response: Bad luck

They did drop their slim coat. Hence, foamy water.
