Oh no.. What's wrong with my ntt's eye...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It does look like some type of bubble under the lense.Unfortunately I can't offer any suggestions on what to do about it.

Did it hit something in your tank? Does it look like it goes to the actual ball? If it doesn't I'd just keep the water clean, add some salt, and melafix. My bass would get eye injuries and that's how I would get them back to normal. Eye injuries take time to heal so don't think it will go away over night.

It might have hit those driftwood that i have in my tank for plecos... Alright, thanks guys! I'll add some salt and melafix tonight! I'm much appreciated!

I could be wrong. Just thought I'd heard that at some point and was worth mentioning.
It depends on the type of salt, aquarium salt is safe for most aquarium fish if I am not mistaken.

I would keep doing water changes everyday maybe 20-30 percent and add some salt to the tank. If you lose the eye not a big deal it won't die. I had an arow like that who had an abrasion from jumping and hitting the tank. It took 6 months to fully heal properly. Was cloudy in the beginning but became normal. Not sure if he was blind in that eye but didn't seem like it. I can physically see the eye moving my way
