Wow your crazy dude. HAs there been any over aggressive action yet?
nope, everything's cool so far. the one lucius chased the jo away when I was watching but no nipping or anything like that. all fins are in tact this morning

Man if you get away with this I am going to be so jealous. I have not seen any of my pikes to date be able to be housed together with my Johanna! The Lucius and the Xingu are co exsiting but I think it's because the Lucius stays in the PVC. And of course you seen were the Cobra is. I don't think he will ever be able to co exsit with any of the other Pike's.

Man your a lucky dude, keep us updated.

the johanna has been cool with everybody so far wherever I've put it and I'm basically starving it since it doesn't eat much of what I give. I'm hoping since the lucius eat pellets and krill that the jo will follow suit.

I'm more worried about the lucius ganging up on the jo. I believe they are going to form a breeding pair when they mature. They already hang out together all the time. Of course, the jo will get bigger than them, but it hasn't grown much lately.

Ya, your cobra is a mean S.O.B. It's amazing how much some pikes differ like that, especially when looking at the same species.

i'll try to get pix tonight.

BTW, this is in a 125

I have 3 jos and 1 veni about 6-7 inch in a 55 gallon tank and have had no deaths yet. but have been somewhat aggressive in the past week
the aggression will probably continue and escalate with that many pikes in a tank that size, but hopefully it'll work out for you.

Well I had 3 Lucis, 3 Jos, and a Sax in a 125.... One Lucis (extra male got put in the corner with some tail fin damage so I bailed him out. The rest were doing good until a few nights ago one of my Jos was going at it with the Sax. Then one of the bigger Jos comes over pushes the other Jo back and takes over the jaw locking with the Sax. I ran to get the big net but when I got back they were in the same area as if nothing happened.... Watchin it carefully..... Mine are in a 125 as well....
