I bought some male a few months ago guppies and somehow a female smuggled her way in with them.
All f the males died almost right away but she made it and had a small litter of 4 fry, one was a male.

previously all of the babies but one or two were eaten right away

but I let my hornwort get out of control and now I have two separate age groups of babies, both groups of 25 or so, some are about 1 cm and some are newborn. close to 40 all together :nilly::nilly::nilly:

I scooped out lots of the newborn and my pair of rams feasted on them, but there are still 12 or so newborn and close thirty of the larger babies that are beyond food size for most of my fish.

I cleaned out all but one 4 inch piece of the hornwort t help them not proliferate and I pulled the male out of the tank.

But what do I do with all these babies!

use as feeders? or get separate tanks?

a couple of my guppies have been pregnant for quit some time now and still no babies popping out just really fat mamas...
You're a lucky one that it just happens by accident lol

believe me....u'll get fed up with them and use them as feeders eventually....and then u wont even bother removing the female when she is abt to give birth
so dont waste ur time caring for them...

or oh wait....if u rele like guppies then they are easy to take care of,the fry i mean.....just crush the flakes/pellets and u got the fry food....u can keep them in a container or a small 10 g tank....

even trade em for credit at a lfs
