Im looking for an acrylic supplier in ohio to avoid shipping of ordering, online ive got a quote of 26$ per square ft which would run about 2500 not including cutting fees for my 450 gallon build. Ive seen joey say on his videos hes gotten acrylic at 12$ a square ft and was wondering if anyone on here from ohio can help me find a supplier with fair prices. Need 3/4 inch cell cast. Thanks in advanced!

Prices vary based on oil prices, acrylic is not cheap and I Highly doubt you will find a 3/4" sheet for $12 per sq/ft. When I did my build I was unable to find a local supplier. You could try aquariumsbychloe.com, used to be aquaart.com. he's a tank builder so I don't know if he will just sell individual sheets. He is in plain city ohio.

Ive benn told american plastics, i already talked to rich in plain city he just builds, he wanted like 7000 to build it. I dont think he sells sheets but i could be wrong. Whered you get your sheets from and was was the cost?

I got lucky and there was a guy on here tearing down his tank in cleveland so he sold me his front panel of 1" acrylic for $400. American plastics is where I was about to order from till he messaged me offering me the panel. My next build is going to be huge and I will need 2 panels so I will once again be looking as well next year. I planned on asking Rich if he would sell just a panel if not I'll probably be ordering from american plastics.

Rich is a weird guy lol. How big is big? Im building a 72x48x30 im gonna call american plastics today and ill let you know what they say

He is, I've been to his house to buy fish and it was odd. Your tank is about like mine except i went 3ft tall. When we move next year I'm going to be looking for a house with a basement to do what I have now but 16ftx4x3 with 2 8ft windows.

There is a pretty big supplier around the Columbus area, might be the place you're referring to in Plain City. They must get their acrylic from somewhere so I would think you'd find a place around Columbus.
