oil slick

after feeding my rtc some sprats there is a oily film on the top of the water will the filter clear it ive done a water change it is still there can anyone help me please

That happens when you feed oily types of fish. When I feed my hybrid pompano his water gets that same film on it. Seems to go away after a few hours.

If you rest a sheet of paper on the top of the water and lift it off, it will take the oil with it, i only feed oily fish every now and then because of this.

or u cud also use a tiny bucket and scoop all the oil out. isnt such a bug deal just dont let ure water get dirty. hope u have an awesome filtration system though.
