I finally got rid of the sand in my tank cause I hated it. So I bought this gravel and was wondering how it would do with the rays. What do you think?

one of my motoro's is in a tank with gravel about that size doing fine however doesn't seem to bury in gravel like it use to in sand. good luck!

So the epoxy coating wont hurt them?

The bag is 10 pounds and cost $7.50. csx4236...How much smaller should they be?

as small and as smooth as you can find

its hard to tell if its ok or not until you feel it

but i would say thats a bit to big and sharp

the best kind is very very small pebble gravel

the one i use is also lime free

Any way you guys can shoot me some brand names so I can do some searching...Thanks.

if its branded chances are its not what you want

you realy need to feel the gravel before you buy it if it feels sharp in your fingers it will be to sharp for the rays

my gravel is real smooth and real small
