ok gents this is my sump help me

i made this work of art in literaly 1 minute so leave ur funny comments after some advice!

this is my sump i want to know how to maximize how well it cleans my tank GO!

I would add a chamber between the bioball and the return pump that contains another filter pad that the water will go through before returning to the tank.

If you want to make the filter more efficient, just add a finer form of mechanical filter media before the bio-balls. You want to eliminate as much detritus up front long before it gets to your bio-media.

ok ty guys i could add a nother 1inch pad of finer foam under the first one to catch smaller particals and the cool thing is i can take out the foam and have it cleaned and back in the sump in under 5 minutes so would u think daily cleaning of that and proper feeding would be enought to keep sump clean and working well?

the tank will have 7 dats 6 indo 1 ntt and 2 flag tail and 1 cl as of now planning on getting more cl to keep the sand shifted and bring as much crap to the filter

the babies are still small 1/2 - 1 inch growing almost double size a week and the ntt is 3 inchs same for the cl and flag tail they are in a grow out 30 for now so i got time till i have this going i want it perfect to keep them all the way till the next tank they need a new tank should be a year or so cuz they all grow slow
also i wanted to turn a canister filter in to a water polisher its raited for a 100 gal think that would be enough?

That should be fine to keep the sump nice and clean.

The canister would do a great job of helping to remove the extra debris.
