OK...GOT MY 210 UP AND RUNNING.

Finally!!!

Here are some pictures of the new 210 I just bought.

Still kinda cloudy from setup I hope. I hope it is not trying to cycle. I used some old media out of my previous filters in my sump. I also, as you can see I have 2 of my old filters still hanging on the side. The tank is doing 2400 gpm right now with all three of these filters. Maybe over aeration is causing the cloudiness.???

Tank mates are

12-13" florida gar
1-6" male motoro
1-8" ck
1-7" tsn
1-7" lima shovelnose

Nice set-up and fish.....

the Cloudiness is most likely from the sand or from the tank not being cycled..... I would test the water for NitrItes and if any NitrItes are showing go out and buy some bio-sphira and cycle the tank just to be sure you don't loose any of the fish..

I have tested so far...0 nitrite 0 ammonia

When should I expect to see a spike in ammonia and nitrite if it is cycling??

if you are at 0 and 0, check nitrAtes. if you have a nitrate reading you are good, and will go through no cycle.....or a tiny mini cycle when you take some of the filtration off.

if you have any NitrAtes then you are fine and the tank is cycled but if there are no NitrAtes then it means that you should expect a spike in Ammonia and/or NitrItes soon. hopefully the tank is cycled GL
