i got a pictus and a blacktip shark, everyones tellin me there gonna get a foot, if so my 37 aint gonna cut it, how long we talkin here to get that big

i think pictus grow to about 5 inches. I think thats ok for a 37 obviously you could go bigger. i also think sharks are slow growers. This tank could just be a grow out tank

Pictus Catfish (Pimelodus Pictus) do get around 4-5" and your tank should be enough. I am not sure what the shark is, the only Blacktip that I know of is Carcharhinus limbatus which is a real shark.

EDIT: Perhaps you mean Balantiocheilos melanopterus (bala shark) which will in fact get over a foot long.

i see you have a tiger oscar they get 12 to 16 inches..

you will be alright for awhile the only thing you have that grows at a fast rate is the oscar...but if you like fish i guarentee you will always want a bigger tank....just always think of upgrading

ya thanks everybody im growin out the parrot and oscar, and yes i made a mistake its black finned shark johno27's link is my fish, in the next month i plann on purchasing a 55 or so maybe 75
