ok how to cross?

female convict 2inch male red devil 4inch i finaly got a measuring tape to be accurate
do i just put her in
do i use divider
or egg crate
or do i put her in a breeder box and wait till my red devil stops being agressive to her
also she is filled with eggs and is ready to spawn again and does any body have a pic of this cross

Yes I have seen it but the red devil may not immediateley think to breed with the con. The cross however just looks like a bigger meaner convict not particularly good looking in my opinion.

divide em for at least 2 wks then put the male on the females side to give her the advantage

but dont hybrids verrry is there a chance of a orange fih the con stripes

yeah i suppose but that would be a very rare combination. I think either the grey and black will overpower the grey gene or the fade gene will overpower the stripes gene (e.g. it will be striped until it fades). But if you get one with 50/50 exactly that would be awesome! you could cross them back and eventually get a strain that looks like that. That could be a very popular fish
