Had this brown longfin bristlenose since August 21 2017 @ 2”. Been in the 135gallon since and never refuses food. Woke up this morning to this! Tankmates are:
5” redtail barracuda
7” vampire pleco
6” green phantom pleco
5” longfin albino bristlenose pleco
4” shortfin albino bristlenose pleco
3” royal pleco
6” blue botia
5” tiger loach
2 6” spotted Raphael cats
I do see a shuffle here and there but nothing to the point where they’ll kill each other. So bummed out. It was really starting to look nice with the long flowing fins. Who could’ve done this?

To be honest I’ve never tested my ph or ammonia. So I don’t know what those numbers are. I do about 30gallons of water change every weekend

Could have been anything, heart attack, stroke, cancer, infection, I'd say another male bristlenose killing him is one of the least likely causes.
