ok i actually lied this is going to be a three in one post :)
FIRST question. ok well first I'll let you know that I'm talking about one of my small 15gal tanks.
Uno. What is a really good water syphon? Or what an easy way to make your own? I have some brand I cant remember but it doesn't seem to pick anything up off the bottom. I have marine sand and some round pebbles for substrate and it likes to pick up sand but not the junk my fish leave behind.
Dos. So this 15gal is overstocked because I'm poor atm and such. I wont begin to tell you the fish in it, ill just let you know it's overstocked. I had some tetra whisper filter in it for 10-15gal which really wasnt doing much and I had to change the filter a ton, so today I bought a marineland filter for 30gal and it does 150gal an hour, I just want to know if this will be more effective in filtering the water?

Three. Does anyone know any good fish/pet stores around southern NH? We only have three in my exact city, being petland, petco, and petsmart. Petland's fish and other animals look like crap and are in filthy tanks. petco eh I like but they are kind of expensive and don't change what they carry very much. Petsmart is to expensive and they never change what they carry.

I can answer 1 and 2. I personally use a python syphon, and the new filter should be more effective than the last.
