i was watching my oscar lastnite and kinda fell in love with him/her evem more but i love my firemouths alot more tho but heres teh thing next spring im getting a 75 gallon thatss gonna house my pair of firemouth and a couple male cons when i get them will i have room for a new oscar ( getting rid of this one tho ) and ill still have my 29 but i may make that a reptile tank tho or if not then a communite tank but anyways heres what i been thinking about,

75 gallon...
with.
maybe one oscar
i now i will have.
a pair of FMs 4 male Cons ( 2 black 2 pink ) 2 male JDs or a pair dunno and sum red jewls ( pair )
or
three sections divided into 25 gallon each with
one breeding pair of cons
one pair of firemouths
and
one pair of red jewls or use that section as a fry rearing and growout

and teh 29 into a preditory tank so i dont get run off with frys

so need help please

A 75 by itself would be fine for 1 oscar and you could mayb throw in a FM/Con or 2 but make sure there same sex you DONT want them to breed in that tank with the oscar, Oscars are kind of push overs when it comes to aggression from what ive seen and a breeding pair would beat on that oscar. Im not sure about what you are planning on with the 29 but just to let you know a 29 is MUCH to small for a oscar, they are very messy eaters and are poop factory's most people recommend atleast a 55 for 1 oscar but its not uncommon for a oscar to reach lenths of 16" although most reach there max at 10"-12" . I personally would say set the 75 up as a Oscar only tank, they have tons of personality and you will fall in love with it even more if your anything like me.
