so i made the deal on the 300g,
i am going to post hopefully with pics
my step by step proses, until its finished and i win
tank of the month :headbang2
I will probably start buffing and polishing tommorow.
c u soon

i am doing a 125 sump,,,im going to split it into 1/3 s and make 1/3 for my media, bio balls, etc, 1/3 wil be a grow out spot, the other 1/3 will be a spot for lots of plants..sound like a good idea? Does anyone think there is a better way to utilize the space better?

Depending on what you're growing out I might just use one part for your refugium (is it still called that in fresh, with plants?) and let your growouts hang out in the plants.

yeah i say add a refugium, and add plants for filtration.

Congrats on the new tank and good idea on the posting from start to finish (winning tank of the month). I did the exact same thing last year with my 300 build (and ended up winning totm with it). :D

Here is mine, never know it might have some ideas in it that you can use.

ok,,well i didnt start on scratch removal instead i focused some time in building a 12"riser to set my stand on,,so now when you walk up to the tank,,you will be able to see the fish without bending over,,my only problem is,theres 11? between the ceiling and the tank,,maintenence will be very ruff non the less.aquascaping thats going to be seriously tough stuff but hopefully friday i get to the plumbing
