Ok so I already have micros in my tank...now I have seen a group of 20-25cm Parachanna obscura and Eyespot Snakehead pleurophthalma. So my dilemma is I can only have one or the other :irked: :irked: :irked:

which one should I have?

btw I got these images from google haha :D sooooo yeeeaah...if they aren't allowed on this thread then mods please delete them. but anyway you guys get what i mean. I sort of like parachanna obscura because they look a bit mean :D but i just wanted to know what you lot think and what are the pros/cons of both groups. based on a decision here I'm planning to have them in a day or two ;)

A group as in how many? it would probally be better keeping the pleuro in a group, however i have one of each and they both stick together like glue, you will like them both, i love the pleuro for his bulshi attitude and the parachanna obscura for they way he sneaks up on stuff and trys to act like a peice of wood, and how it looks like a true snake with little wiggling worms on its snout....is this to house with the micro's?be careful as i beleive micro's will get aggressive with age,

No, the reason why I thought I could only choose one species is because I'm keeping one group of each species per tank. So the micros stay on their own and btw I have a new vid of them hunting feeders as a GROUP and it's AMAZING! Will upload soon! :D:D:D

But yeah..back on topic haha uhm I think I'm going to buy about 4-5 of them (per species) and see how I do with the one I choose from the choices I've given you on here. Then if it's going well I will get the other group a bit further down..like about 2 months after.

ha iam still waiting on pics of your channa girl...chop chop....

In that case maybe go for parachanna obscura as there very different to pleuro and micro's...they look great heres my boy
