Ok,so winter is comming!

and it gets rele cold here in china...expecting snowfall in mid october...
right now its warm...like 30 deg C...but with each passing day the temperature will drop..

i wanna knw which of my tanks will need heaters....and which fish can cope with cold waters...not cold enuff to freeze it...but like 15 deg C...but i have room heaters that keep my room temperature near 17-18 deg C

25 gallon community/feeder tank-mollies,tiger barbs,guppies,skirt tetras,plecos,weather loaches,mickey mouse platies,very small convict fry

50 gallon flowerhorn fry tank

105 gallon oscar tank [4 oscars-4 inches each]

105 gallon snakehead tank - 2 12 inch channa micro

105 gallon cichlids community tank - right now i have 2 jewel cichlids [3 inches each...planning to add more

and planning to get a 190 gallon arowana and clown knifefish tank..


so a little help here woud be great

Well 30 deg C means nothing to me since Im only familiar with farenheight, but if its gonna get real cold, unless you are keeping goldfish or koi, you'll need a heater for everything else.

Id probably stock up on some heaters I keep all of my tanks at 84 degrees and my little guys are happy as can be!!!

Yeah everyone of those tanks is gonna need a heater IMO or they will probably die.

i would heat them all with a heater if possible... the temperture change if only moderate shifting over time is okay... but any sudden drop in temps is harmful... too much flutuation is harmful... so to maintain a steady temp heaters are the way to be safe and keep temperture on even keel.

there is not rele a sudden temperature change here...
it drops down day by day...and the weather is quite predictable...its gonna turn very cold very slowly and then it will snow...
so no sudden drops in temperature..
i heard using heater in the tank harms fishes....so i was wondering if they will do without one...
